Introduced to the Royal Irish Guards in the First year of the Colony First Landing in August 15 2042.
A small gun company named O'Tooley Arms Corp based in New Dublin, New Erin. This small company started building there firearms for Hobbyist and Hunting Shotguns, Rifles and Pistols.
The Irish Royal Republican Guards and Lady O'Neal called forth to any and all gun companies to design and build an effective and reliable combat rifle for the Royal Irish Army. O'Tooley and a few other companies took up the bargain.
In recorded time, the O'Toole Arms Company won the compensation in the Arms race. The Mk-1 rifle has been combat tested over the One year since the first landing. The Rifle was originally chambered with the 5.5 mm which had no effectiveness against Murbus's larger enemies, Orcs, Orges, Trolls and Giants. Later the Mk-1A *Advance* was quickly issued to the Route Irish Guards. Rechambered with a larger round 6.53 mm Murphy *Named after John T. Murphy who designed a better lighter hunting round with a decent recoil and stopping power of the old 7.62mm.*
In the later years. The Mk-1A ICRS or I Cress became the standard rifle to the Irish Army on Murbus.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
